For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in him. That is why we say “Amen” when we give glory to God through Christ. 2 Cor. 1:20
From the time God revealed Himself to man, He has set promises expected to be fulfilled in this life. Known as the God of Truth, His word is firm and dependable. However, many generations have past on without seeing the promises fulfilled in their lives because of unbelief. If you are a born again Christian, these ought to be interesting times for you to be alive. We are living in a time of the fulfillment of God’s promises. If you can find a promise of God in the bible, relating to your life, know it that He has already fulfilled it for you in Christ Jesus. All you have to do is to receive it. For instance, in Jeremiah 29:11, God says for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. God is not about to design your end, he has already set your future in Christ Jesus. All that is left for you and me to do is to agree with God and say Amen; literally meaning, so it is, so be it, may it be fulfilled. When we accept Jesus as our Savior are we able to agree with God and live to partake of His fulfilled promises in our lives. Christ is the embodiment of God’s plans for all creation. Everything God has done and all He will ever want to do, has He done in Christ Jesus. For this reason, when you have Jesus in your life, you have all the promises of God fulfilled in you. So go ahead and receive Christ in your life that you may live to see fulfilled promises of God in you.
