And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. Num 13:33
What you see yourself to be, greatly determines what you are able to accomplish. No one can convince you of your destiny beyond that which you have seen of yourself. If you are going to rise over mountains, to possess the land, to put your footprint in the lanes of history, you must first address how you see yourself.
The opening scripture is the report of the children of Israel who came back from spying the land God had given them to possess. Though God had previously given them victories elsewhere, and had already determined their victory over the inhabitants of the land, what these spies saw in the land made them to fear and feel unworthy of possessing the land.
Besides the giants they saw, the perspective they had of themselves was the giant they had to overcome. Note that until you are able to see yourself overcoming the challenges before you, you are the giant against your progress.
Everything you desire in your life is there for the taking, but you must see yourself as the candidate for it. Besides what people say about you, what do you believe of yourself? What do you see yourself to be? Until you take an inventory of yourself, you will have no confidence in yourself.
Take some time and make an inventory of your skills and capabilities. Believe in what God has gifted you and make use of it. Nothing in this world is big enough, strong enough, or high enough to stop you when you believe in your gift.
One of the greatest tool for shaping and building confidence, identity and self esteem is God's word. Gods word teaches us to be that which our eyes see as impossible. God's word sees possibility in us more than what the world sees in us. The word sees you as a more than a conqueror, an overcomer, the healed, and many more. If you give yourself to God's word, you will arise to overcome the giants in your perspective as Joshua and Caleb said if God is with us, we shall possess the Land.
Scripture says if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
Therefore, believe that you can; believe you will see victory in your favour; believe it is your time to shine. The ability to do so is in you; use it. Use it to rise to heights of your career. You are a creation of success. Live your life with a mind-set of success.
