But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
How high do you want to fly? How far do you want to go? All things are possible when you exercise the character of patience in waiting for the right moment. Timing for the right moments gives an edge to success. Many people have wonderful business ideas, but the success of the idea depends on other factors like timing. Nothing can ever prepare you for the right moment as patience would.
When we exercise patience in waiting for the right time, we align ourselves to Him that governs times and seasons of life. Jesus revealed to us, that God, in His infinite power, sets the times and seasons of our world, Act 1:7. When we align ourselves to His time, we are bound to be ahead of the others. He will renew our strength and equip us with what we need to meet the challenges of the moment ahead of us.
Consider a farmer, how he endures the painstaking process of sowing. He submits to the natural seasons of seedtime and patiently waits for the harvest. If the farmer rushes to bring in the harvest before its time, his harvest will be disappointing. However, if he waits for the right time, he will rejoice for the perfect crop.
Likewise, when you wait on the Lord, you will emerge invincible in your moment of glory. Many gifted people are lost into obscurity because they never exercised patience by enduring in the work of patient preparation as they wait for their moment of glory. Though they were gifted, they came up too soon and unprepared. As such, they fainted and failed before their appointed moment of opportunity.
However, as for you, patiently wait on the Lord even in your hardship. Do what is required of you during your waiting time. Study to shew yourself approved before God. He will make you invincible in your moment of glory.
