May God open the eyes of your understading
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,”
Ephesians 1:17-19 KJV
Spiritual blindness is the most hinderance to believers liberty. Spritual blindness is the inability to understand spiritual truth of what christ has fulfilled for a believe. it is the veil on a believer that keeps them in a status of lack of enlightment and understanding of the grace of God. Failure to understand the the grace of God revealed in christ Jesus keeps many in the bondage of practicing religion.
For this reason it is the desire of the spirit to remove the veil by revealing the truth to believers
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” 1Cor 2: 9-10
So this is why the Spirit of the Lord is given to you.
The Spirit wants you to know the Lord But before you know the Lord it is His desire to open the eyes of your understanding. The above opening scripture is a prayer you must pray to receive the opening of your eyes.
When your eyes open you will know and experience the liberty in christ.
the question then is, how do i get my eyes to open.
Many believers live christianity like a person two friends living together but never talk to each others. They live with the holy spirit but never talk to him or ask him a thing. they carry the bible but never read it. Embracing the spirit of God and the word of God, is the combination that grants you the antidote to spiritual blindness, which is grace.....
